| The 2026 Alberta Winter Games will be held February 13-16, 2026, in Lakeland County. Athletes from across Alberta will come together not only to compete, but to celebrate community, friendship, and the passion that defines winter sport in our province. Read the event overview and register here Athletes: Female athletes born in 2010 or 2011, playing A, B, or C in the 2025-26 season, are eligible to try out. All athletes will be evaluated in their zone, then drafted to balanced teams. Selection announcements are expected by the end of November 2025. Coaches: Applications are open now (deadline: September 20, 2025). Each team will have a mix of coaches from across the province, with at least two female coaches per zone. The Alberta Winter Games is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, both on and off the ice, and we encourage all eligible athletes and coaches to take part.
